Weekly AI Insights

What if you're using AI backwards?

Hello Reader,

Each week, I share one strategic insight and one grounding practice to help you grow with AI in alignment, not overwhelm.

This is for conscious entrepreneurs who value substance over shortcuts.

AI Insight That Matters 💡

The AI Plateau That's Hiding in Plain Sight

Over the past two weeks, I've had the privilege of working with thousands of coaches from all corners of the planet in online workshops, and I watched the same revelation happen over and over again.

These are brilliant people. Daily ChatGPT users. Getting solid results. Confident in their AI skills.

Then I showed them the Three Levels of AI Consciousness, and I watched their faces change.

Level 1: The Mirror

  • Reflects and organizes your thoughts
  • Handles admin tasks efficiently

Level 2: Thinking Partner

  • Reveals patterns you might miss
  • Challenges your assumptions

Level 3: Wisdom Amplifier

  • Extends your unique methodology
  • Scales your genius authentically

"Oh my god," one coach said. "I thought I was advanced, but I'm barely past Level 1."

Here's what I realized watching them: Competence at Level 1 creates the illusion you've arrived.

You get efficient outputs. Tasks get done faster. It feels like AI mastery. But you're actually camping at base camp thinking you've reached the summit.

The invisible trap is this: Most people never progress beyond Level 1 because they mistake efficiency for partnership. They optimize their prompts, get better results, and assume that's what AI advancement looks like.

But here's what's hidden beneath the surface - each level requires fundamentally different context architecture.

Level 1 works with minimal context. You can walk up to any AI, ask for help, and get useful output. It's transactional. Extractive. The AI doesn't need to know who you are.

Level 2 and 3? They require the AI to actually understand who you are, how you think, what you're building, and what matters to you. This isn't about better prompting - it's about relationship foundation.

The breakthrough moment for every coach was the same: "I wasn't stuck because I lacked prompting skills. I was stuck because I never gave AI enough context to be anything more than a smart search engine."

You can't access Level 2 or 3 thinking with Level 1 context architecture.

This is why the Co-Intelligence OS isn't just helpful - it's the bridge. It's what transforms AI from a tool you use into an intelligence you think with.

Most people are stuck in AI kindergarten not because they lack capability, but because they never built the foundation for genuine co-intelligence to emerge.

AI Prompt That Works ✨

The Level Diagnostic

When to use it: Anytime you want to experience the difference between all three levels in one conversation and feel what you've been missing.

The Prompt:

Let's explore three ways you can work with me on this challenge: [describe your current challenge or project]
First, as my Mirror (Level 1): Simply organize and reflect back what I've shared so far.
Then, as my Thinking Partner (Level 2): What patterns do you notice in how I approach this type of challenge? What assumptions might I be making that I can't see?
Finally, as my Wisdom Amplifier (Level 3): Based on everything you understand about my work, methodology, and what I'm building, how might this challenge actually be pointing toward a deeper opportunity I'm not seeing? What would success look like if I thought bigger?

Implementation: Use this exact prompt with a real challenge you're facing. Pay attention to how the quality and depth of response shifts at each level.

What to expect: Level 1 will feel familiar and useful. Level 2 will surprise you with insights you hadn't considered. Level 3 will reveal possibilities that feel both exciting and slightly overwhelming - that's your genius reflected back at a scale you haven't imagined yet.

The key insight: If Level 3 doesn't feel significantly different from Level 1, you need to build your Co-Intelligence OS first. The AI needs more context about who you are to amplify what's uniquely yours.

Grounding Practice ☯

The Context Consciousness Check

Before your next AI interaction, pause and sense which level you're approaching from:

Level 1 Energy: "I need you to..." (body feels task-focused, slightly urgent)

Level 2 Energy: "Let's think about..." (body feels curious, collaborative)

Level 3 Energy: "What becomes possible when..." (body feels expansive, creative)

Notice that all three are valid, but only Level 3 consistently surprises you with what emerges.

The practice: Choose your level consciously rather than defaulting to efficiency mode.

Duration: 10 seconds of conscious choosing

Purpose: To break the autopilot pattern that keeps you stuck at Level 1, no matter how sophisticated your prompts become.

Personal Note ❤️‍🔥

"We cannot teach people anything. We can only help them discover it within themselves." - Galileo Galilei

For the first time in my life, I'm celebrating my birthday properly.

Because my birthday always falls when schools go back, I've never had the opportunity to celebrate it the way I wanted. There was always the rush of new terms, new schedules, new demands. I accepted this as "just how things are" for decades.

This year, for the first time, we're spending the week in Greece - one of my favorite places in the world. Not rushing back for anything. Not accepting the limitation as permanent.

It took me until now, as I turn 51, to realize that some constraints we accept as unchangeable are actually choices we can unmake.

This mirrors everything I witnessed with the coaches this week. They'd accepted Level 1 AI as "just how AI works" without realizing they could architect something completely different. The limitation wasn't technological - it was conceptual.

Both proper birthday celebrations and Level 3 AI require the same audacity: the willingness to claim what's actually possible rather than settling for what seems available.

I'm launching deeper AI transformation work for organizations when I return. This week taught me that the real barrier isn't technical complexity - it's helping people see that the plateau they're comfortable on isn't the destination.

Sometimes you have to go to Greece 🇬🇷 to remember what celebration actually feels like.

Thanks for being here. If this resonates, could you share it with someone building something that matters?

Reply and let me know which level you recognized yourself in - and what became possible when you saw Level 3.

With love 🙏

P.S. I'll be away celebrating properly next week, so no newsletter. But when I return, I want to hear your Level 3 breakthrough stories. What emerged when you stopped asking AI to help you and started asking what becomes possible when two forms of consciousness think together?
