The Intelligence Briefing

The eye of the storm is not empty

Hello Reader,

Each week, I share one insight, one prompt, and a short grounding practice to help you grow with AI in alignment, not overwhelm.

This is for conscious entrepreneurs who value substance over shortcuts.

AI Insight That Matters 💡

The Stillness at the Centre

This week, I delivered the first live call in the AI for Coaches Mentorship with Coaching.com. Hundreds of coaches on screen from around the world. A room full of people who came expecting to learn about tools.

I opened with Nietzsche, one of my favourite quotes:

"He who has a why to live can bear almost any how."

Not a prompt. Not a plugin. Not a productivity hack. A question about purpose.

And then something happened that I've now seen enough times to trust completely. The room settled. You could feel it, even through Zoom. The nervous energy about keeping up, about falling behind, about whether AI would replace them, it softened. Not because I gave reassurance. Because I gave an anchor.

Earlier that same week, I asked Gemini, currently the most capable AI model on the planet, a question that had nothing to do with productivity: "What will always remain human, no matter how advanced you become?"

Its answer stopped me in my tracks. Not because it was surprising, but because it was so clear. Lived consciousness. Genuine emotion. Intentionality and purpose. Moral agency. The things that come from having a body, a finite life, and skin in the game.

The machine itself said: "My advancement is about becoming a better tool, not about becoming closer to being alive."

The smartest AI on the planet just told us where to look. Not at the technology. At ourselves.

That's the insight I keep returning to. Not just this week, but across every workshop, every keynote, every conversation I have with leaders navigating this moment. The people who thrive with AI are not the ones learning fastest. They're the ones who've found their centre first.

Think about a storm.

Everything at the edges is chaos. Wind, debris, noise, destruction. But at the centre, the eye, there is perfect stillness. Not emptiness. Stillness.

The kind that holds everything together.

That's what presence does in a world accelerating beyond anyone's ability to keep up. It doesn't slow the storm down. It doesn't make the chaos disappear. It gives you a place to stand that the storm cannot reach.

Most people are trying to outrun the wind. Learning more tools, watching more tutorials, and collecting more prompts. And the faster they run, the more exhausted and disoriented they become. Because you cannot outrun a storm by running inside it.

The first live session this week proved what I've been feeling for months. When you ground people in their why first, the how becomes almost effortless. The coaches who activated their presence before touching a single tool produced work that was sharper, more authentic, and more useful than anything that comes from chasing features.

You are the eye of the storm. And from that stillness, you can meet anything.

You cannot outrun a storm by running inside it.

AI Prompt That Works ✨

The Clarity Anchor

Before you open any AI tool this week, build the document that makes everything else work. This prompt creates a one-page strategic anchor, your personal "why" translated into language AI can use to serve you better.

The Prompt:

I want to create a one-page Clarity Anchor document that grounds all my AI work in purpose rather than productivity. Help me build this by asking me the following questions one at a time. Wait for my response before moving to the next.
1. What is the deeper purpose behind my work — not what I do, but why it matters?
2. What does my best work feel like when I'm fully present and aligned?
3. What am I most afraid of losing as AI becomes more central to how I work?
4. What would it look like if AI amplified my purpose rather than distracted from it?
5. What is the one sentence I want to read before every AI session to remind me who I am and what I stand for?
After all five answers, synthesise them into a clean, one-page Clarity Anchor document I can paste into any AI tool as foundational context. Format it with: My Purpose, My Standard, My Fear (acknowledged), My Intention, and My Anchor Statement.

How to use it: Run this in Claude or ChatGPT. Print the output. Keep it beside your keyboard. Paste it as context at the start of any meaningful AI session.

Try it today: Build your Clarity Anchor and paste it into the custom instructions of your most-used AI tool. Notice how the quality of every output shifts when the machine knows your why.

Grounding Practice ☯

Finding the Eye

Sit comfortably. Close your eyes. Take three slow breaths.

Now imagine the storm. Everything swirling around you, the noise, the news, the notifications, the pressure to keep up. Let it swirl. Don't fight it. Don't fix it.

Instead, notice where you are. Right here. In the centre.

Feel your feet on the ground. Feel the weight of your body in the chair. Feel your breath moving in and out without any effort on your part.

This is the eye. It was always here. The storm didn't create it. The storm can't touch it.

Stay for two minutes. When you open your eyes, carry this knowing with you: you are okay. Not because the chaos has stopped. Because you were never the chaos.

Personal Note ❤️‍🔥

"The wound is the place where the Light enters you." — Rumi

I opened the first session with Nietzsche to ground people before the learning began. But honestly, I needed the grounding too.

This season has been full.

Launching the AI for Coaches Mentorship. Watching businesses sign up for the Humane Business AI Accelerator that Rosario and I are building together.

The momentum is real, and it's beautiful, but momentum without stillness is just velocity.

When I asked Gemini what will always remain human, and it named lived consciousness, emotion, purpose, and moral agency, I felt something settle. It was confirmation.

The machine itself is pointing us back to ourselves.

That's exactly why Rosario and I built HumaneBusiness.ai. Not to help people use AI better. To help them protect the empathy, purpose, and agency that make their work worth doing in the first place.

What that first session showed me, again, is that activating presence isn't a warm-up exercise. It's the whole foundation.

We have coaches building with intention. We have business leaders choosing to grow humanely. Something is shifting, and it's not just about technology. It's about how we meet this moment.

And in the middle of all of it, the thing I keep coming back to is this: we are okay. Not because everything is figured out. Because the stillness at our centre is real, and it holds.
