AI Prompt of the Week āœØ

Boost your AI skills with a weekly dose of Prompt Engineering magic.

Roast Me, AIā€”But Make It Insightful šŸ”„

Sometimes, we learn the most from a little tough love. This week's prompt came from one of our live Unlimited calls and invites ChatGPT to roast you, highlighting your quirks, blind spots, and habits in a hilarious and revealing way. The goal? A lighthearted but brutally honest mirror that might spark some self-awareness and growth.

The Prompt:

"Based on everything you know about meā€”my habits, patterns, and past inputsā€”I want you to roast me. Be witty, be sharp, but keep it insightful. Call out my blind spots, contradictions, predictable tendencies, and the things I always say I'll do but never actually do. Make it sting just enough to be funny, but also make it useful. And donā€™t hold backā€”I can take it!"

Why This Matters:

āœ… Break the Echo Chamber: AI often mirrors us, but this forces it to challenge us instead.
āœ… Spot Blind Spots: Sometimes, the best insights come wrapped in humor.
āœ… Have a Laugh: Self-awareness doesnā€™t have to be seriousā€”let AI remind you not to take yourself too seriously.

Dare to take the roast? You might just come out the other side with a new perspectiveā€”and a few laughs. šŸ˜†šŸ”„

Creativity

Steal Like an AI: Remix, Reimagine, Reinvent šŸŽ

Originality is a myth. Every great idea is built on the fragments of what came before itā€”reassembled, reshaped, and given new life. This week, let's take inspiration from AIā€™s ability to remix and reimagine ideas in unexpected ways.

The Experiment:

šŸ”„ Remix an Existing Idea ā€“ Take something youā€™ve already createdā€”a piece of writing, a video, a business ideaā€”and ask AI, "Whatā€™s the opposite of this? How could I make this absurd? How would this look in a different medium?"

šŸ§  Steal Like an Artist ā€“ Pick a creator, thinker, or brand you admire. Feed their work into AI and ask, ā€œHow would this idea apply to my world?ā€ Borrow, blend, and adapt.

šŸŽ Force an Unusual Connection ā€“ Take two unrelated thingsā€”medieval knights and personal branding, jazz music and productivity, AI and spirituality. Now, ask, ā€œHow could these two things inspire something new?ā€

āš” AI as Your Creative Thief ā€“ Give AI an idea and prompt it: "How would this concept evolve if I rewrote it for a different audience, industry, or time period?" See what unexpected connections emerge.

This week, letā€™s stop chasing originality and start remixing reality. The best creators are masterful curators of possibility and energy.

Spirituality

The Wisdom of the Fool: Embracing Beginnerā€™s Mind šŸ¤¹ā€ā™‚ļø

In many spiritual traditions, the fool isnā€™t ignorantā€”he's the one closest to wisdom. Heā€™s willing to stumble, ask naĆÆve questions, and step into the unknown without fear. The Zen concept of Shoshin (Beginnerā€™s Mind) teaches that the moment we believe we already know, we close ourselves off to deeper understanding.

The Practice:

šŸŽ Adopt the Foolā€™s Perspective ā€“ Where in your life do you assume you already know? Approach it as if you were completely new. Ask, ā€œWhat if Iā€™m wrong? What havenā€™t I considered?ā€

šŸŒ€ Embrace Being Bad at Something ā€“ Choose an area where you resist starting because you fear looking foolish. Try anyway. The willingness to be bad is the first step to mastery.

šŸ”„ Challenge Your Own Beliefs ā€“ Pick a strong opinion you hold and ask, "What would a completely opposite viewpoint teach me?" You donā€™t have to change your mindā€”just stretch it.

šŸŒŠ Flow with Uncertainty ā€“ Instead of grasping for control, practice surrendering to the unknown. Let go of needing to ā€œfigure everything outā€ and allow life to surprise you.

This week, letā€™s abandon the need to be experts. True wisdom comes from being open to rediscovering everything.

What might you see with fresh eyes?

Life Update

"At the center of your being, you have the answer; you know who you are and you know what you want." ā€” Lao Tzu

Lately, Iā€™ve been reflecting on the idea that we donā€™t always need to chase answersā€”they reveal themselves when we create space to listen.

This past week, Iā€™ve noticed how much clarity comes not from thinking harder but from allowing. In conversations, decision-making, even in the smallest moments of stillness, thereā€™s a quiet knowing underneath all the noise.

Iā€™ve been leaning into thisā€”trusting that the next step doesnā€™t need to be forced, only noticed. And when you stop grasping, itā€™s incredible how naturally the right things unfold.

Where in your life could you create more space for clarity to arise? Iā€™d love to hear how this is showing up for you.

With love and gratitude ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„šŸ™,
Colin
